Sky Trek is a thrilling zip line circuit that’s located in both of our parks, Monteverde and La Fortuna. Your tour will start riding an open-air gondola from the ground to the heights where you’ll be dropped off. From this area, you will start riding down on a zip line track stretching across canyons and in between treetops; ultimately returning you to the starting point at the main building.

The first activity you will do at Sky River Drift are 2 carbon fiber cables. After these the River Drift adventure will continue, traveling on an exciting tour through the Piedras Negras River. Sky River Drift is a fast water path with controlled rapids travelled on individual rafts.

After being prepared with the security instructions, the tour starts along the 3 km. (2 mile) trail, riding through reforested areas and private farms until we reach the Pino Blanco Waterfall lookout. Horseback riding experience is not necessary for this exciting adventure. Healthy and tame horses will give you a very enjoyable ride.

The tour starts at La Pradera Hotel, after a little explanation of how to drive, the security rules and a driving practice, we will go to a private farm, then there we will have a drinks and after a break we are all set for the rest of the adventure. We will drive to the Arenal River going through La Guaria town, until the river and come back to the restaurant to have a delicious lunch or dinner.

They will pick you up in the hotel then head deep into the Costa Rican countryside to begin your adventure. Get started with a heart-pumping rappel down an impressive 140-ft tropical waterfall! Jump from a continuous series of 10 to 30ft waterfalls and cliffs into deep canyon pools with the help of your professional and experienced guides. Finish the day with a delicious Costa Rican meal.

Sky Walk uses trails and a series of suspension bridges for a more relaxing introduction of the flora and fauna of the forest canopy. Sky Walk’s bridges span across canyons and bring visitors face to face with the upper level of the forest canopy.
